Intelligent Laboratory Solutions
Jeff DeCicco
of
Intelligent Laboratory Solutions had an upcoming trade
show. He needed a good trade show backdrop which displayed the ChromSmart® product in full color in an appealing way.
Jeff supplied us with the digital ChromSmart® product
shots as well as the Intelligent Laboratory Solutions
logo file. We supplied the design service to
neatly tie everything together. We added the
blue-to-black background, the rendered 3D chrome type,
and the fading around the digital images. After
Jeff approved the design, the art file was sent to
production to be printed at a sizable 9.5' x 9.5' with
pole pockets welded in on the top and bottom.
Grommets were added on the vertical sides for extra
measure. Using the existing structure supplied by
the trade show, Jeff's printed backdrop from Magic hung perfectly.

and we were not limited in the design and graphics

Corsa used a

conventional popup displays for our 10 X 20

and interesting way, Auchter is proudly displayed for all
who travel on I-95 through downtown Jacksonville, Florida.
The openness of vinyl mesh lets the north Florida breeze
gently pass through. The low weight vinyl mesh proves
to be capable of reaching toweringly high sizes. U.V.
protected, solvent-based inks are geared exactly for the
environment of the Sunshine State. The Auchter

The Toy & Game Inventor's Forum featured
many colorful decorations this year including some large
banners from Magic Vinyl
Printing. In the top picture, the banners in front
are "Sponsor Banners" which are double-sided. The
three "Podium Banners" share the same design theme but use
different colors. There is also a banner with the T.G.I.F. logo on the podium. The bottom picture shows
the view from one side of the podium. You are able
to see the other side of the double-sided "Sponsor Banners"
in this view. The large banners complemented the lovely
design scheme which was apparent throughout the facility.

The opacity of Magic Mesh allows the natural light from
the skylights to pass through giving the banners a special
effect. The 300 DPI printing is crisp and sharp on
both sides of the Magic Mesh. This is known as "Mirror-Image
Back-To-Back Printing". Customers see the same
design on the front and the back rather than a plain white
backing. Sometimes you have to look twice at these

Methodist Church
Malcolm thought
some Magic Vinyl Banners would help at the Garden Fund Raiser
for the
Community United Methodist Church. Everyone loved
the event. The image above is from Malcolm's video
of the Saturday "High Tea". Numerous
Magic Vinyl Banners
with beautiful garden images were throughout the room setting.
It actually looked like the gardens were right outside the
window! The banners now continue to hang in other
areas of the church.
Driehaus Residence
Christian Dethloff,
of
ENVIRON, Inc. contacted us regarding a rather unique
project that
Mr. Driehaus is planning for his residence.
He
is interested in building a monument, but wants to see what
it will look like prior to its construction. In order
to preview the proposed monument in its actual environment,
ENVIRON, Inc. ordered from us the above 25' x 25' mesh vinyl
banner. Scaffolding was built to support the massive
print. ENVIRON, Inc. supplied us with a beautiful
hand-drawn, scanned image which we printed with our U.V.
protected outdoor inks. Mr. Driehaus advised Christian
that mesh vinyl would be the optimum substrate for such
a project, since mesh is lightweight, therefore making it
easy to install. Also, Mr. Driehaus noted, mesh vinyl is
not solid, which allows wind to pass through easily thus
reducing the risk of damage due to severe weather conditions.

Mark Schachner,
from the
Mill
Basin Kosher Deli, wanted to portray a large image of
their specialty salad in a unique and attractive manner.
Richard suggested that he should try a double sided mesh
banner on the window. Needless to say, this artistic
image fits in perfectly with the surrounding ambience.
Why Use Magic
Mesh?
When printed
on both sides, mesh vinyl is magical on windows. As
you might have noticed, Mill Basin's patrons are able to
see through the mesh quite easily from the inside while
still being able to recognize the artwork. From the
outside of the Mill Basin Deli, the double sided mesh magically
becomes a solid object.

If you browsed
the fine exhibits at the 2002 Armory Art Show, you probably
happened upon the
Max
Protetch exhibit. Featured was the 9' x 12' banner
you see above.
THE GREAT
GUINNESS
TOAST
Guinness
needed two 6' x 24' mesh vinyl banners for their concert
held in New York City, known as "The Great Guinness Toast".
We were able to produce the mesh banners in five days and
ship them in time for the concert. A black background
was needed. Something had to be done to make their
new black bottle contrast against the black background.
Our solution was to incorporate a subtle white glow into
the design which surrounded the outline of the bottle.
Since the top label of the new Guinness bottle is white,
a thin, black hairline was rendered to separate the glow
from the label. There were very large speakers behind
the mesh banners playing music for the concert. The
open weave of the mesh vinyl easily allowed the sound waves
to pass through without muffling or distortion.
Stefano's DaVinci Ristorante
This gigantic
8' x 70' Banner gets the message across loud and clear
from extremely far distances. The enormous vinyl
was finished with hems and grommets and was attached
directly to the steel beams. It is safe to say
that no matter what side of the road someone is on,
they will be able to know very quickly that
Stefano's
DaVinci Ristorante is opening soon, right there.
The banner also gives a hint of what is to come by the
color theme and the Da Vinci logo on the left.
The most note-worthy advantage of this Boeing-Sized-Banner
is that it makes the construction site look much more
appealing to future customers.
